This is the season where you can see decorations everywhere. You can already feel the excitement of a family reunion and have a get together with your friends for the most unforgettable celebration.

 

Of course, it is also a festive season where food and drinks are everywhere. Your holiday season would not be complete without the beautiful array of holiday coffee drinks. Holiday coffee recipes are perfect for coffee lovers who enjoy trying out different coffee. If it is your first time to try holiday coffee recipes, I have compiled some easy and must-try holiday coffee recipes for you.

 

Peppermint Mocha

You can bring back your childhood memories with these delicious striped candy canes. Add peppermint to your mocha or coffee with this refreshing recipe.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk, any milk but whole milk works best for ¼ cup of strong coffee or espresso
  • 2 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon peppermint extra, depending on your minty preference

 

Toppings:

  • 2 crashed of peppermint sticks
  • 2 pumps of mini chocolate chips chocolate syrup
  • Winter sprinkles
  • ½ whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon peppermint oil or extract

 

Procedure:

Step 1: Use your mixer to whip the heavy cream until it thickens for about 5-6 minutes. Add the 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and peppermint extract and mix them until well-combined.

Step 2: Heat the milk and peppermint extract in the microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes or until it becomes hot and steaming, but not boiling.

 Step 3: Add the cocoa powder and sugar, then whip it using a whisk for about 30 seconds or more until the milk becomes foamy.

 Step 4: Pour the frothed milk into a mug with a ¼ cup of espresso. Add the whipped cream, mini chips, winter sprinkles, peppermint sticks, and chocolate syrup. You’re done! Enjoy
